MCP servers & AI tool integrations

Connect Claude, ChatGPT and your own agents to your internal tools and data through MCP, with permissions you control.

The short answer

Updated

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI apps like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor use your tools and data through one kind of connector, called an MCP server. I build MCP servers for internal systems and public APIs, with sign-in, permissions and logs, usually in 1 to 4 weeks for $3k to $12k.

How it's quoted
One server for one system sits at the low end. Several systems or strict permissions push it up.

Let the AI your team already uses reach your own systems, safely.

Your team already has Claude or ChatGPT open all day. What it can't do is look up an order, check a customer record or file a ticket in your own systems. An MCP server gives it that, without building yet another chat app.

I build the server, decide with you which actions are safe to hand over, and put the same permission checks in front of the AI that you'd put in front of a new hire. Then I test it in the AI tools your team actually uses.

A good fit if

What you get

How a project runs

  1. Week 1

    Map

Which systems, which actions, and which of them are safe to hand to an AI.

  2. Weeks 1 to 3

    Build

The server, its tools and sign-in, tested against real tasks.

  3. Weeks 3 to 4

    Roll out

Connected for a pilot group first. We watch the logs, then widen access.

  4. Ongoing

    Extend

New tools and systems as your team finds more uses for it.

Questions people ask

What is an MCP server?

A small service that describes your tools and data in a standard way, so any AI app that speaks MCP can use them. Build it once and it works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and most agent frameworks.

Is it safe to give an AI access to our systems?

It's as safe as the permissions in front of it. I start read-only, require each person to sign in, log every call, and add write actions one at a time, with a confirmation step where it matters.

MCP or a normal API integration?

If one app of yours calls one model, a direct integration is fine. If several AI tools or agents need the same systems, MCP saves you rebuilding the connection for each of them.

Can you make our product usable from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. A public MCP server in front of your API lets your customers use your product from inside the AI tools they already pay for.

How much does an MCP server cost?

Usually $3k to $12k. One server for one system sits at the low end. Several systems or strict permissions push it up.

How long does it take?

1 to 4 weeks. A read-only server for one system can be in your team's hands in the first week.

What do you need from us to start?

API docs or database access for the systems involved, a list of tasks people want the AI to do, and someone from security to agree what's allowed.
